Being versus Doing

Animals are amazing! Unlike humans, who are constantly distracted by life, technology, media and work; hence are always in a state of “doing,” animals live in a state of “being.” Maybe we should call ourselves human doings… but I digress.

This sense of being (observing) allows an animal to be in a constant state of awareness, which nature has given it in order to survive. Ever hear of the fight-or-flight syndrome? Being gives them a sixth sense, if you will, to know what’s going on and to read or sense intention. They know if one is in fear, pain, happy or sad, or if they’re a threat.

Ever wonder how your dog or cat knows when you’re hurting? How does he or she know to come to you and provide comfort? The answer is simple – the flow of movement and energy.

What is Animal Chiropractic Care?

In animal chiropractic care, just like in humans, by adjusting the joints and spine, it releases pressure and obstacles to proper energy flow and movement – providing relief of pain, stress and fatigue. However, unlike a human who can say I hurt here and feel pressure or stiffness here, one has to be able to sense and feel the pain of the animal.

Dr. Block, who has an uncanny touch sensory perception that allows him to connect with the person or animal he comes in contact with, meets the animal in a state of being. It is then that the animal senses his intention of wanting to help and releases inhibitions that allow discovery of where the root cause of the pain, stress or pressure may exist.

This allows Dr. Block to treat the patient non-invasively and lovingly (with cold laser being the only gentle invasive modality used in extreme cases) to ease the pain, correct gait, release fatigue and provide normalcy.

Not all animals are pets. Some animals are performance animals (actors or circus), others are competitors and still others are assistance animals on a farm or for the disabled. However, we come to love them all!

So whether the reason is to stop seeing an animal suffer, making sure he or she can perform, or to ensure the family farm doesn’t fail; Animal Chiropractic Care is a great investment. It will help your animal with the listed issues and more.

Chiropractic Care Complimenting Veterinary Care

Just like a traditional chiropractor cannot kill an infection, provide cancer treatments or inoculate you from the flu, an animal chiropractor works in conjunction with a veterinary doctor. It is this synergistic approach that ensures your pet receives medical attention when needed and holistic attention when possible.

Furthermore, the combination of the two helps you, the master and owner, save money on unneeded surgeries and procedures that can be painful and require long-term convalescence. The result is a happier animal and family.

There are many reasons to use this modality. However, if you’re not sure what to do, contact Dr. Block for an initial FREE consultation. Get your questions answered, learn what your options are and have peace of mind. Contact Dr. Block!
